- JOB SUMMARY: MCSG Technologies is seeking a Test Project Liaison to provide technical expertise to support United States Space Force, STARCOM, Space Delta 12 (DEL 12), 1 Test and Evaluation Squadron (1 TES) – Kirtland AFB, NM. Interface with USSF and AFOTEC test and evaluation organizations to determine project staffing requirements and coordination of resources to ensure adequate support is available for vital test programs. Location: Kirtland AFB, NM with occasional travel to Colorado Springs, CO and Los Angeles, CA.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Attend program meetings and interact with space program’s test teams, program offices, and various test organizations.
- POC for test programs at HQ AFOTEC; works with HQ AFOTEC, STARCOM, and 1 TES for scheduling product reviews/briefings related to oversight test events and activities.
- Assist 1 TES in reviewing, interpreting, and coordinating instructions, and manuals to ensure test program continuity.
- Provide continuity of knowledge to facilitate adapting, tailoring methods and products for a system under test.
- Attend test design working groups, measures workshops, integrated test teams, and threat conferences to ensure appropriate test factors and levels are incorporated into test designs.
- Update test teams products and ensure all documents and briefings comply with senior level coordination guidance.
- REQUIREMENTS: 10+ years of technical experience in DOD, USAF and USSF OT&E policy, procedures, and requirements in evaluating new and existing space systems in a realistic environment
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
- Understanding of USSF systems to include Space Domain Awareness (SDA), missile warning/missile tracking (MW/MT), Satellite Control Network, and satellite command and control systems.
- Possess knowledge of DOD and USAF AFI 99-103 test and evaluation processes
- Experience and understanding of the interaction with Operational Test and Evaluation organizations.
- Familiarity with Space Force, Combatant Commands and Department of Defense relationships.
- AFOTEC, operational and developmental test experience, previous space operations, or space acquisition experience is highly desired
- EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor’s degree (STEM preferred) from an accredited institution, or applicable experience in lieu of degree.
- SECURITY CLEARANCE: Top Secret/SCI and eligibility to be SAP briefed.
