• At Eni, we are looking for a Tax Coordinator within Eni Mexico, S.de R.L. de C.V. in Mexico City, Mexico. You will be responsible for reviewing, supervising and controlling the company’s tax calculations, both monthly and manual. You will ensure tax compliance, review and implement improvements in working papers, and oversee deferred tax. Additionally, you will provide support for internal and external tax queries and review the accounting entries included in tax determinations.

Main responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance.
• Coordinate procedures with the Mexican Tax Authority (SAT).
• Review monthly and annual tax determinations.
• Manage tax audits and opinions.
• Coordinate and review Transfer Pricing studies.
• Respond to tax-related queries.
• Supervise volumetric controls.
• Review and improve deferred tax calculations.
• Project annual tax and manage the amortisation of tax losses.
• Review tax invoices issued to consortium members.
• Coordinate various activities within the tax department.
• Review tax aspects of commercial contracts.

Skills and experience required

• Public Accountant or equivalent.
• Diploma, course, or specialisation in tax matters.
• More than 10 years of experience in the tax area and at least 2 years of experience in companies within the hydrocarbons sector.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong knowledge of SAP.
• Solid accounting knowledge.
• Team management and team-building skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Problem-solving ability and attention to issues.
