What You'll Do

  • This is a Full-Time Hourly Supervisory Position
  • As a Store Manager, you will lead, coach, and support your team to provide
  • exceptional service and guidance to our customers. You'll oversee the daily
  • operations of the store, including business performance, product management, and
  • ensuring your team has the tools to succeed. In this key role, you'll represent
  • the GNC brand by offering expert product knowledge and promoting our "Live Well"
  • message to customers.
  • * Responsible for ensuring products are merchandised according to GNC standards
  • but keeps an eye towards ensuring that products are easy to see and buy.
  • * Responsible for supporting the total shopping experience, including visual
  • and operational elements, current sales initiatives, and the customer
  • relationship that leads to sales and repeat business, i.e. MYGNC Rewards.
  • * Ability to achieve and exceed personal sales and productivity goals, while
  • helping sales associates to realize their sales potential.
  • * Ability to build strong teams, demonstrate leadership, and managerial skills,
  • such as giving feedback to store associates regarding work performance on an
  • on-going basis, recruiting, hiring, and performance management.
  • * Opening, closing and operating the retail facility. Including, but not
  • limited to cash handling, inventory count and deposits according to GNC
  • procedures.
  • * Attending community fairs, conferences, meetings, and other public gatherings
  • to promote the organization's mission and initiatives.

Environmental Factors & Working Schedule

  • * Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
  • * Frequent reaching and bending and twisting - below waist and above shoulders.
  • * Frequently required to use repetitive hand-to-finger motions and reach with
  • hands and arms.
  • * Frequently lifting up to twenty pounds, occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds.
  • Push/pull up to 20 lbs.
  • * Ability to climb ladders, reach and bend.
  • * Work in temperatures ranging from 50 - 85 degrees - especially in our stock
  • room areas.
  • * Use of a computer up to 60 % of the time throughout the day.
  • Stores Managers are expected to work five (5) days / forty (40) hours a week and

adhere to the guidelines below

  • * Managers of mall and strip center stores must work at least two nights during
  • the week until closing, one weekend night and one other night.
  • * Strip center managers must also work a full shift on Saturdays.
  • * Mall managers are expected to work peak business days including weekends
  • (Saturday & Sunday).
  • * Managers are expected to work a minimum of one full Sunday per month.
  • * Managers of downtown stores must also work during the lunch hour of 11am to
  • 2pm Monday through Friday. Downtown store managers must also work one night
  • per week until closing if the store is open in the evening. Managers of
  • downtown stores are not required to work Saturdays.
  • * Managers are expected to work all major U.S. holidays that the store is open.
