Work Schedule Standard (Mon-Fri) Environmental Conditions Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Office, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.) Job Description Apply knowledge of tax compliance and accounting principles to prepare and review all company tax reports required by corporate as well as local tax authorities in accordance with federal regulations. Help streamline tax planning and decision-making processes to improve efficiency. Support VAT recovery submissions through the compilation of purchase documents, invoices, etc. to support refund process. What will you do? Prepare tax returns, payments, necessary paperwork, and reports in a timely manner. Answer all Mexican tax authority requirements. Assess and research difficult tax issues to identify solutions. Manage and maintain the company’s tax database. Determine tax savings and recommend strategies to improve profits. Ensure compliance with regulations by forwarding required information to federal, state, and local authorities. Offer support and guidance during audits. Keep track of industry trends and changes related to taxes. Prepare accurate quarterly and annual tax reports. Submit VAT Certification as well as APA for Maquila Operation. Requirements: Educational: Public accounting Languages: Bilingual Experience: 3 years of experience, desirable on one of the big 4 firms. Strong understanding of Mexican taxes and with experience on VAT devolutions, experience with SAP, proactive and with good communications skills.
