• Job Summary
• We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer with extensive experience in manual testing for enterprise-level software. The ideal candidate is technically strong, comfortable working with complex datasets and multi-platform environments (Windows/Linux), and able to ensure product quality throughout the entire development cycle.
• You will collaborate closely with developers, automation engineers, and distributed teams while contributing to continuous product improvement.
• Responsibilities and Duties
• Estimate testing efforts based on technical specifications.
• Design, document, and execute functional and acceptance tests for new features.
• Execute and maintain the manual regression test suite.
• Identify, log, and track software defects, usability issues, and stability problems.
• Validate bug fixes provided by the development team.
• Manage the automation backlog, collaborating with automation engineers to improve automated test coverage.
• Create synthetic data and manage client project data in OpenWorks/Oracle environments.
• Design and execute performance tests, evaluating software behavior under different hardware configurations.
• Measure and report product stability using test suite results and defect trends.
• Identify project risks and escalate as needed.
• Qualifications and Skills
• BS or MS in Geology, Geophysics, Computer Science, or related Engineering field.
• 10+ years of experience testing enterprise software or experience in similar technical domains.
• Proficient working with Windows and Linux platforms.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and within a distributed team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Team player, willing to mentor junior team members and collaborate across functions.

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience with Landmark software products.
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps for defect reporting and test case management.
• Experience managing data in OpenWorks/Oracle.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., GitLab).
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
