As a Sr. Associate Business Planning and Financial Analysis supporting the IT team, you will execute core financial processes, including forecasting, month-end closing, vendor and PO management, and annual planning. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working cross-functionally with Finance, Line Owners, and Functional Leadership, and will serve as a key user and administrator of the Reveal Forecast tool. As a Senior Associate, Financial Operations supporting the Information Technology & Transformation and Continuous Improvement (ITCI) function, you will be trusted to deliver financial transactions and provide insights to enable strategic decision-making through accurate planning, forecasting, and analysis. In this role, a typical day will include: Forecasting & Financial Planning Maintain and update monthly service expenditure forecasts in forecasting tool. Conduct forecast review meetings with Line Owners and submit monthly forecasts to Finance. Match actuals to forecasts and define reconciliation rules. Calculate personnel costs and support month-end close activities. Monitor financial variances and provide explanations to stakeholders. Month-End Close & Accruals Interface with Finance during Month-End Close. Prepare Purchase Orders accrual estimates and submit manual accruals. Support variance analysis and financial health reviews with Function Leadership. Purchase Order & Invoice Management Collaborate with Finance to ensure Bought in Services compliance. Manage hardware maintenance and software amortizations. Update monthly PO accrual sheets and maintain PO records. Facilitate vendor onboarding and updates (e.g., payment terms, banking info). Route SOWs/MSAs for signature Manage reclassifications and Inter Company submissions. Annual Planning Extract historical data from forecasting tool and consolidate inputs into planning templates. Facilitate planning reviews with Function Heads and submit plans to Finance. Forecast Tool Ownership Ensure accurate mapping of G/L accounts and system calculations. Act as APM (Application Process Manager) for Forecast tool. Project & Demand Management Assist in demand and project management and cost planning activities. Distribute Capex Internal Orders reports and support depreciation calculations. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. 2–3 years of experience in financial operations, preferably within an IT or corporate environment. Advanced level of English Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong proficiency in financial systems (e.g., Reveal, SAP, Guided Buying).
