Video-First | Sports & Fitness Client We’re a bunch of AI-empowered creatives who geek out over tech tools, big ideas, and words that make people stop scrolling. We’re looking for a Spanish copywriter based in Mexico (or deeply familiar with Mexican Spanish) who’s quick-thinking, playful with language, and fluent in the rhythms, slang, humor, and cultural codes of Mexican fitness, sports, and gym culture. This is a project-based role (approx. 3–4 months), supporting copywriting primarily for video content — from short-form social videos to scripted brand storytelling. You should be someone who can write in a voice that feels hyper-local but globally sharp, someone who knows when to hype, when to motivate, when to be cheeky, and when to keep it clean and powerful. We’re after authentic, culturally resonant Spanish, not translations. Bonus points if you’ve worked with commercial clients, fitness brands, sports platforms, gyms, wellness companies,, especially within Mexico or Latin American markets — or if fitness is already part of your daily life and vocabulary. What you’ll be doing: + Writing Spanish (LATAM / Mexico) copy for videos across social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok, paid ads, etc.) + Scripting and polishing short-form video content (reels, ads, UGC-style videos, branded content) + Supporting storyboards, hooks, CTAs, supers, and VO scripts for video-first campaigns + Writing digital ad copy and captions that feel native to Mexican internet and gym culture + Collaborating with designers, editors, and creative leads to ensure copy and visuals work as one + Adapting tone across formats — from high-energy motivational lines to clear, instructional or brand-led storytelling + Helping ideate culturally relevant concepts around sports, gyms, training, discipline, motivation, and community + Working closely with an English-speaking global team, aligning Spanish output with overall campaign strategy What we’re looking for: + Fast, adaptable writing in Spanish (Mexico / LATAM) with a strong creative edge + Very strong English (written and spoken) — our team and briefs are in English + Deep familiarity with Mexican culture, slang, humor, and local tone, especially around fitness and sports + Experience writing for video (ads, social, scripted content, or branded storytelling) + Background in advertising agencies, creative studios, content production, or journalism/writing + A versatile voice — from punchy hooks and captions to longer scripted content + Genuine interest in sports, gyms, fitness, or active lifestyles (you understand how people talk, train, and motivate) + Passion for AI and tech tools that enhance creative workflows + A collaborative mindset — enjoys bouncing ideas, iterating fast, and co-creating with a team + Comfortable working on a project basis with clear timelines and deliverables Bonus if you: + Have worked with sports, fitness, gym, wellness, or performance-focused brands + Can localize global or English-led ideas into authentic Mexican Spanish, not literal translations + Know how to write captions and scripts that feel native to local social behavior + Have experience in bilingual copywriting (EN → ES) + Are comfortable adapting copy for different energy levels — hype, discipline, confidence, community + If you love both ideas and execution, can jump from sharp video hooks to structured scripts in a single day, and are excited by using AI to supercharge creativity, speed, and quality, we want to hear from you. ⚠️ Please note: We’re only considering applicants with previous experience in advertising agencies & creative studios.
