About the client

• A company that serves over 100 million fans across 200+ countries online and in-person, streaming video, games, and events. The client is seeking a Display Frameworks Software Engineer to contribute to the design and optimization of the server-driven presentation framework that powers all customer-facing SVOD applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain frontend and backend components of the display framework
• Lead architectural discussions and make critical system design decisions
• Deliver clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Review code and provide constructive, actionable feedback to peers
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical challenges
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers to support their growth
• Partner with product managers, designers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define and deliver project requirements

Location

• Hybrid role in Mexico City, MX
• Focus Areas
• Core expertise in JavaScript & TypeScript
• Frontend development (Vue preferred), Backend (Node.js, Serverless)
• System design, architecture, and mentorship
• Must-Have Qualifications (
• 5+ years of professional experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Proven experience in frontend (Vue), backend (Node.js), or full-stack development
• Strong understanding of serverless architectures
• Experience in system design & architecture discussions
• Comfortable mentoring, conducting reviews, and leading engineering practices
• Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Hands-on with modern frontend frameworks (Vue preferred; React/Angular acceptable)
• Experience with backend services in Node.js (serverless/Lambda ideal)
• Proficiency in unit and integration testing
• Ability to troubleshoot & resolve complex technical issues
• Strong track record collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders (PM, QA, Design)
• Contributions to frameworks or display systems in consumer-facing platforms
