About the client

• Our client is a company that serves over 100 million fans across 200+ countries online and in-person, streaming video, games, and events. The client is seeking a Software Engineer on the game console team to contribute and develop a web-based app targeting all popular consoles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain both frontend and backend components of the display framework
• Lead architectural discussions and make key decisions on system design
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows best practices
• Conduct code reviews and provide actionable, constructive feedback to peers
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure system stability
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers to support their growth and development
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to define and deliver project requirements

• Must-Have Qualifications
• Experience building and maintaining Streaming/SVOD client applications
• Deep expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Strong proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (Vue preferred)
• Solid background in backend development with Node.js and serverless architectures
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead system design and architectural discussions
• Nice-to-Have Qualifications
• Broad experience across frontend, backend, or full-stack development
• Familiarity with unit and integration testing practices
• Skilled at conducting code reviews and delivering constructive feedback
• Consistently writes clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Strong problem-solving skills for tackling complex technical issues
• Comfortable working closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams
