• Consultants and Senior Consultants are essential contributors to our organization, spearheading the delivery of inventive solutions and offering analytical excellence to our clients. They take the lead in research and analysis, molding the team's understanding with both quantitative precision and insights gleaned from engaging stakeholders. As those who dive deep into the issues, Consultants and Senior Consultants think critically and creatively to develop insights based on their findings from the research process. They gain a broad knowledge base that cuts across sectors and geographies while driving the core of every project’s work. .

• While both Consultants and Senior Consultants play vital roles within the team, the main distinction lies in the additional responsibilities and level of ownership expected of Senior Consultants. Senior Consultants are tasked with independently overseeing workstreams, cultivating relationships with clients, and providing leadership, and mentoring and managing junior team members, as needed.

• Interview Process: Candidates selected will be invited to a one-way video interview, writing assignment, and three live interviews: a behavioral interview and two separate 45-minute case interviews, each conducted by a different interviewer.
• We are currently hiring both Consultants & Senior Consultants. A candidate’s specific title and level will be assessed during the interview process.
• Salary: The annual compensation for this role is $660,000 MXN for the Consultant position and $850,000 MXN for the Senior Consultant position. Our salary structure is designed to be in line with that of non-profit and social impact organizations, reflecting our dedication to social impact work. This is distinct from management consultancies, which predominantly cater to commercial clients.
• Benefits: Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package encompasses medical coverage, mental health support benefits, parental leave, student loan repayment assistance, and paid time off.
• You are expected to work near one of our offices and work 2-3 days/week in the office.
• Employment in Dalberg’s Mexico City office is contingent on the candidate having the requisite authorization to live and work in Mexico as well as possessing fluency in English and Spanish.

• Requirements

Typical qualifications for a Senior Consultant

• · 3/4+ years of professional experience, including 1+ years within advisory services, preferred
• · Strong analytical abilities, both quantitative and qualitative
• · Ability to present information in an insightful and structured manner, both written and oral
• · Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
• · Sensitivity to the political and cultural environments of international public agencies or similar complex environments
• · A passion for driving social impact and equity, typically evidenced by a strong interest in and/or prior exposure to global or local impact issues
• · Experience living and working in different communities
• · Demonstrated fluency with English and Spanish speaking and writing skills
