We are a family-owned self-storage business with locations across three states — and we’re growing! We’re looking for an energetic, reliable professional with excellent English communication skills to join our team as a Remote Call Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our customers, you’ll play a key role in creating a positive experience. This position is ideal for someone who is friendly, detail-oriented, and committed to providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities: - Answer inbound customer calls in a professional and courteous manner - Provide unit availability and pricing information - Assist customers with payments, rentals, and problem resolution - Direct calls to management when necessary - Support with light administrative and operational tasks when not on calls Position Details Schedule: Part-time, minimum of 20 hours weekly upon completion of training (with a possibility of long-term work) Pay: $6.00 per hour with bonus opportunities Training: Paid training provided and completed within two weeks before transitioning to regular hours Initial Period: 30-day conditional period (effective from completion of training); performance review at the end of this period Technical Requirements - Desktop or laptop computer with a current operating system - Reliable, high-speed internet connection - Ability to run multiple browser tabs simultaneously - Noise-cancelling headset with microphone (required) - Webcam for training and meetings (as needed) - Quiet, distraction-free workspace Application Process - We will reach out to you via Upwork Messages - Shortlisted candidates will be asked to: - Submit a brief audio recording - Complete an additional application form
