Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Purchasing Manager Direct located in Guadalajara, North Campus Reporting to the Materials Manager the Purchasing Manager Direct role involves responsible for issuing all material to manufacturing lines according to a specific production plan, will have to open all necessary WOs for this plan and give maintenance to them until be completed and closed. What a typical day looks like: Coordinates schedule of activities with customer on planning, scheduling, shipping and material acquisition during program start-ups. Produces revenue analysis and annual operating (AOP) plan and other forecast reports. Conducts special studies, investigations and analyses relating to the introduction of new products or processes to effect cost reduction and yield improvements. Responsible for the development and implementation of the company's production control functions including Master Scheduling, Production Planning/Coordination, Shop Scheduling, and Dispatching. Develops, implements and approves items such as material requirements, planning systems, work in process tracking, material and labor variance controls and manufacturing performance reporting. Approves quantities, schedules and parts list provided to the material control organization to ensure timely and complete ordering, receipt and issuance of production material requirements. Responsible for planning, reviewing and developing production procedures and personnel. Maintains reports to reflect scheduling, methods, support performance and process procedures. Interfaces with customers to ensure delivery commitments are met and with subordinates, functional peer group managers and senior management. Develops material planning models to ensure proper material planning and optimal inventory positions for customer programs. Utilizes models for determining material planning parameters for components. Interfaces with purchasing to expedite problem parts and to reschedule material deliveries that will result in excess inventory. Notifies Materials and Program Management of material situation that affect the attainment of the production plan. Travel as necessary The experience we’re looking to add to our team: Bachelor´s Degree in Administration or related. Experience as a Purchasing Leader in the electronics or metal-mechanic manufacturing industry. Strong experience in NPI. Advanced English. Proactive Personnel management. ERP Experience Experience in Inventory controls Ability to make data-driven decisions. Successful use of decision-making and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills.
