Job Summary Production Supervisor FL Location: Tlalnepantla As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating key activities within the production process, ensuring compliance with quality, efficiency, and safety standards. This role plays a strategic part as a liaison between the Manufacturing Manager and the departments involved in operations, such as Quality, Warehouse, Commercial, and Operations, fostering communication and collaboration to achieve production goals. Key Responsibilities: Plan, distribute, and organize production projects to meet operational goals. Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement. Lead and support operational staff, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork. Promote and implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, safety, and quality. Apply HACCP principles to ensure food safety and regulatory compliance. Oversee all stages of production to maintain product quality and reduce rejection rates. Support the Production Manager in environmental compliance across all production areas. Assist in safety and quality matters related to plant operations. Ensure strict adherence to 6S methodology and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Identify and report any issues related to manufacturing processes. Develop and optimize production plans, including internal staff movements and shift adjustments, to enhance overall productivity. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Biochemical, or related field). 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environments. Training and experience in Six Sigma projects, preferably Green Belt certified. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SAP, and SharePoint. Strong understanding of production metrics and critical quality assurance factors. Knowledge of Safety procedures (PSM), especially Management of Change (MOC). Proven experience in team leadership, skill development, and change management. Advanced English proficiency (preferred). Strong analytical and critical thinking skills for problem-solving, including data collection, analysis, and solution implementation. Ability to manage multiple workflows to meet plant objectives, business goals, and customer needs. Key Competencies: Leadership capability. Strong communication and presentation skills.
