  • This role is responsible for supervise that production programs are executed according to the resources provided and the requirements established in the production orders

  • Functions and responsibilities
  • Coordinate compliance with the production schedule by machine through the execution of production orders.
  • Communicate the requirements and specifications generated by the Technical Department to the production operators.
  • Ensure that operational personnel have the knowledge and skills required for executing production orders.
  • Maintain a positive work environment among all team members.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System, as well as Safety, Health, and Environmental policies.
  • Ensure that infrastructure, machinery, and work equipment are kept in optimal condition
  • Prepare production orders according to the schedule and delivery dates.
  • Supervise that operations at the different stages of the process are executed according to established standards.
  • Provide tooling and indirect materials required for production orders.
  • Maintain equipment and infrastructure in optimal condition.
  • Ensure incidents are reported on time and according to the payroll process.
  • Ensure the accounting closure of production orders within the period and in compliance with the order’s structure and routing.
  • Develop the knowledge and skills of assigned personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and the Quality Management System, as well as continuous improvement activities and WBS.
  • Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Metallurgical, Industrial, Chemical-Metallurgical, Materials, or related field).
  • Knowledge in: Drawing/Wire Drawing, Problem Solving, Core Tools.
  • Continuous improvement methodologies: 5S, SMED, Poka-Yoke, TPM, QRQC, OPL, LPA.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Excel (pivot tables), ISO 9001, ERP systems.
  • Minimum 2 years as Production Supervisor.
  • Experience in Metal-mechanics, Automotive, or related industry.
  • Experience managing unionized personnel.

  • Standard office equipment: computer, mouse, keyboard, telephone, multifunction photocopier
  • Personal protective equipment: safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves and steel-toed safety shoes.
