- Job Objective
- The Production Control Supervisor ensures proper material flow for production, adapts to demand variability, and guarantees compliance with standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 14001. This role supervises the scheduling and control of production, maintains optimal inventory levels, monitors execution of production plans, and leads continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, the Supervisor will develop and guide the team to ensure efficiency, discipline, and alignment with customer requirements.
- Main Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and supervise the Production Control team to ensure high performance and accountability.
- Prepare and oversee the master production schedule according to Magna customer requirements.
- Monitor daily compliance with the production plan and address deviations promptly.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels of in-process materials and finished goods.
- Ensure finished goods coverage according to customer requirements.
- Organize inventories and manage the Kanban system effectively.
- Guarantee proper turnover of in-process materials.
- Report and analyze key performance indicators to Logistics Management.
- Lead corrective actions when production or quality is at risk.
- Ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality Management Systems.
- Drive continuous improvement and MAFACT implementation across the area.
- Act as main liaison with other departments to resolve issues impacting production flow.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production control, logistics, or supply chain within the automotive/manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience leading or supervising teams.
- Knowledge of SAP, Office, Supply Chain tools, and automotive customer portals.

- Job Conditions
- Salary: $55,000 – $60,000 MXN monthly (gross).
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm, with availability for early morning calls.
- Mobility: Required between Apodaca and Guadalupe plants.
