Play your part in our team success The Procurement Category Manager oversees supplier relationships, executes category strategies, and manages end-to-end procurement processes, including need analysis, supplier selection, negotiations, contracting, and compliance with Global Procurement Policies. The role leads key commercial negotiations, builds contracts that drive value for the LEGO Group, resolves conflicts, and supports senior leaders on complex or ad-hoc strategic projects. Core Responsibilities Category & Strategic Sourcing for Direct Materials: Develop and execute sourcing plans for direct materials, leveraging market insights to optimize value, reduce risk, and support global category strategies. Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Build positive relationships with key suppliers and align cross-functional collaborators through structured collaboration, performance reviews, and clear critical metrics. Negotiation & Contracting: Lead complex, high-value negotiations and run the full contract lifecycle to secure optimal terms, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance with LEGO Group policies. Project & Organizational Change: Drive cross-functional project execution, define scope and timelines, and support procurement transformation by influencing participants and managing adoption of new processes. Data & Digital Analytics: Use advanced analytics to benchmark performance, find opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations that support informed, impactful decisions. Sustainability, Risk & Cost Management: Integrate sustainability and compliance into sourcing strategies, proactively mitigate risks, and ensure cost awareness of deliver resilient, responsible procurement outcomes. Bachelor’s degree in international commerce, industrial engineer desired or equivalent experience with multinational companies or working with international teams. Strong negotiation, strategic thinking and partner management skills. Advanced MS Office Skills (Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc), Power BI desired Language: Advanced communication skills both in English and Spanish, verbally and in writing and comfortable in presenting complex ideas Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.
