The Role We’re hiring an Operations and Automations Manager to own and scale our internal systems. You’ll be the point person for making sure our CRM (HubSpot), workflows, and automations are running like a well-oiled machine. Expect to lead projects across multiple departments, sales, recruiting, client success and build automations that save time, increase accuracy, and drive growth. Day to day, you’ll: - Map processes into flowcharts and SOPs to improve team efficiency - Build and maintain HubSpot CRM, automations, workflows, and reports. - Create and deploy automations in n8n and Make, including custom code when needed - Integrate APIs and build more advanced automations in languages like (JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript) - Lead operational related projects across all departments to streamline execution - Collaborate directly with leadership to design scalable systems This role starts part-time with 2-3 small automation/operations projects per week, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time leadership role as our team scales. You’ll also have opportunities to assist our clients with their own SOP and operations build-outs and earn big commissions on high-ticket consulting projects in addition to your base pay. What You’ll Do - Own and improve HubSpot CRM automations, reporting, and data integrity - Build n8n and Make automations across recruiting, sales, and client success - Design flowcharts and process maps to document and optimize workflows - Write and deploy light code (JavaScript, Python, TypeScript, or similar) for advanced automation and API integrations - Collaborate across departments to solve bottlenecks with systems-based solutions - Create and maintain SOPs, ensuring team adoption and compliance - Lead 2-3 projects per week, with timelines and deliverables clearly defined - Possibly support high-ticket client operations build-outs (with commission incentives) What We’re Looking For - 3+ years of experience in operations, business systems, or automation engineering - Proven expertise with HubSpot CRM (workflows, properties, reports, pipelines) - Hands-on experience with n8n and/or Make automation platforms - Working knowledge of coding (preferably JavaScript, Python, or TypeScript) for advanced automations and API work - Strong process thinker who can map complex workflows into clear flowcharts and SOPs - Startup mindset, scrappy, resourceful, and ownership-driven - Ability to work across departments (sales, recruiting, client success) and enforce process adoption - Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously with clear communication - College degree ideally has an engineering or development focus.
