Job Title: Manufacturing Quality Engineer Location: Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico Company: Johnson Controls What You Will Do: The Manufacturing Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the manufacturing processes meet quality standards and regulations. You will develop, implement, and maintain quality control systems, ensuring that the quality of products produced meets both company and customer expectations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, drive continuous improvement, and implement best practices throughout the manufacturing facility. How You Will Do It: Conduct regular quality audits of manufacturing processes and product outputs to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal procedures. Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement. Develop and implement corrective and preventive action plans to address quality issues. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop quality control plans and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Facilitate training for manufacturing personnel on quality standards and procedures. Work closely with the supply chain and procurement teams to evaluate and select suppliers based on quality performance. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and production efficiency. Participate in cross-functional teams to develop new products and processes while ensuring quality standards are met from the outset. What We Look For: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering or related roles within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and tools, including Six Sigma, DMAIC, and root cause analysis. Proficient in statistical analysis and quality management software. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication abilities.
