What you will do: The Manufacturing engineer is responsible to create Manufacturing Bill of Materials and routings (standard and calculation of earn hours) per family products, ensuring the optimization of resources, balance of production lines and compliance with operating standards. How you will do it: Create standard process to create MBOMs and routings Creating and updating the Manufacturing Bill of materials (MBOM) ensuring the integrity of the information in system. Create and update routings in SAP Engineering change control processes, bills of materials. Day to day support to the cross functional team. Work with product engineering team to resolve manufacturing related issues. Ensure that MBOM’s structure is aligned for manufacturing requirements in accordance with global design standards to complies with industry design. Participate on engineering change implementation and meetings as needed. Time study analysis for final production lines Time study for fabrication areas Create Yamazumi Charts (Line balance) Align process change from manufacturing to MBOM and earn hours Define and create Work Centers aligned to new MBOM structure Participate actively in development and integration on operational system Collaborate with Standard Manufacturing engineering team on new product introduction projects. What we look for: Required BOM knowledge Routing knowledge Lean Manufacturing tools knowledge Interpretation of engineering specifications for mechanical and electrical components. Proficient with advance Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word. SAP operational knowledge. Actively participation on Kaizen events as required for COE team. Ability to prioritize and effectively execute projects. Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly. Able to work under pressure Analytical and thinking resolve skills Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Minimum 3 years applicable experience.
