The Role As an intern in the EHS department, you will support the creation, implementation, and maintenance of initiatives that promote organizational wellbeing. This project focuses on enhancing employee experience across financial, workplace, and emotional health pillars, with a special emphasis on plant operators. What You’ll Do (Impact Areas) Co-design, implementation, and deployment of internal policies and procedures aligned with regulations and market trends, with an impact on employee well-being. Collaborate on the implementation of leadership-focused programs such as Energy Leader and LAC. Support the deployment and monitoring of emotional salary kits as part of the recognition strategy. Assist in the implementation of NOM-035 across sites to promote psychosocial wellbeing. What Success Looks Like By the end of the internship period, have at least two policies and procedures implemented with coverage in Mexico Increased participation in leadership and wellbeing programs. Improved employee recognition and emotional engagement. Compliance with NOM-035 and enhanced workplace wellbeing. Core Competencies Strong communication and collaboration skills Organizational mindset and attention to detail Initiative and empathy in employee-facing projects Ability to work across departments and with diverse teams What You Bring (Qualifications) Applicable Backgrounds: Open to students from various disciplines with interest in organizational development, HR, EHS, or employee experience. Preferred Skills: Interest in employee wellbeing and workplace culture Ability to manage documentation and digital tools Proactive attitude and willingness to learn Work Model & Travel On-site at MBC.
