Compensation: CS116 prorated based on .80 FTE: $38,040.00 - $49,719.20 Compensation Type: Salary Employment Type: Fixed Term (Fixed Term) FLSA: Exempt Scheduled Weekly Hours: 32 Position Summary The Integrated Education Training Career Readiness Coordinator coordinates all aspects of I-BEST/IET programming and teaches assigned classes. Collaborates with Deans, Department Chairs and Adult Education (AE) Managers and Coordinators to develop and sustain the program. The I-BEST/IET Coordinator/Instructor does not supervise others. This is a TERM (Fixed-Term) position, therefore continuous employment is contingent upon project completion time, position funding and/or need. Duties & Responsibilities Produces and distributes program outreach materials that enhance community awareness and engagement. May assist students with academic skills for entry-level workforce certificates and AE curriculum. Conducts co-teaching with content area teachers to contextualize English and Math skills development, and schedules academic skills instruction as needed. Assists in tracking academic learning outcomes for students. Conducts progress assessments for National Reporting System (NRS) GAIN required testing and enters data into data management systems that track assessments, attendance, student progress, and NRS compliance. Contributes to the application process, , and construction of career pathway plans for certificate programs, and pre-planning development. Recruits and groups students into certificate programs, ensuring they meet eligibility criteria. Advises students from program acceptance to placement, helping them set goals, create individualized learning plans, and obtain financial aid. Collaborates with Department of Workforce Solutions and other agencies regarding career-readiness training, job placement support, labor market data and certificate career areas to enhance students' career readiness and job placement opportunities. Collaborates with the AE department to select and support effective teaching teams and coordinates training and ongoing professional development in IET methodology for those teams. Coordinates with academic schools and departments to schedule classes and ensure the selection and ordering of books, software, and materials needed for academic skills development. May teach up to 1 class per session as needed. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge of adult education theory, principles, and practices with emphasis in career readiness preparation services Knowledge of program self-evaluation and review principles. Knowledge of student personnel administration, college policies, and procedures. Knowledge of academic skills, assessment methods, curriculum development, and design principles. Knowledge of recruitment, training and assessment techniques. Skill in the decision making and problem solving, delegation of responsibility and authority. Skill in the operation of computers and job related software programs. Skill in interpersonal relations, customer service, and in dealing with the public. Skill in oral and written communication. Skill in the preparation and delivery of instructional materials both online and in person. Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree One(1) year of experience related to the duties Preferred Qualifications Experience working with adult students with low academic performance levels. Experience working with multicultural populations. Bilingual (English/Spanish) Schedule Designation: Based on work assignment This position is part-time working no more than 32 hours per week. This position will be required to work onsite in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Sitting for extended periods of time. Repetitive hand motions and prolonged use of computer. May be required to lift up to 20 pounds. Work is normally performed in a typical interior classroom/office work environment.
