Insulet Corporation is seeking an eager and motivated Financial Analyst for this exciting, newly created role, reporting directly to the Senior Financial Analyst, Commercial. This role will provide a wide variety of operating expense (Opex) analysis responsibilities and deliver insights to help facilitate speed and accuracy of decision-making, and positive impact to support the Company’s growth. This role will help establish dashboards and process improvements and will gain exposure to various financial partners as well as leaders outside finance in the US Commercial organization. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical and data manipulation skills and demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a key cross-functional role. In addition, the candidate will be able to think creatively, create meaningful business partnerships, and provide practical solutions to problems. Responsibilities: Opex Financial Analysis: Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual operating expense reports for the US Commercial organization, including variance analysis and trend identification. Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the FP&A team in the development and maintenance of Opex budgets and forecasts, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights. Expense Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key operating expense indicators (KPIs) related to the US Commercial organization, providing insights to drive cost management and process improvements. Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc Opex financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives and special projects within the US Commercial organization. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with operational stakeholders across multiple departments to gather data, share insights, and support broader business objectives Presentation Support: Assist in the preparation of presentations and materials for senior management and executive leadership meetings, summarizing Opex performance and highlighting key insights. Perform other duties as needed Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred Must Have: Minimum Requirements Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data effectively Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in financial modeling and data analysis preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build strong relationships with various stakeholders Proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, performance and deadline driven environment Interest in the healthcare industry and/or medical technology sector is a plus 2 to 3 years experience in similar role.
