Job Summary

• Perform various housekeeping functions, cleaning, sanitation, and other housekeeping functions observing high-sanitation and safety standards in accordance with hospital policies and procedures as well as State and Federal laws.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Perform cleaning procedures of patient rooms and common areas throughout the Operating Room.
• Maintain adequate linen supply for the departments.
• Remove waste and soiled linens using proper disposal procedures.
• Operate housekeeping mechanical equipment.
• Final Terminal, Terminal and Turnover of Operating Rooms.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL/ABILITIES

• Ability to read, write, and speak English preferred.

MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• Education – High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Work Experience – Prior cleaning experience in an institutional setting preferred.
