  • The Branch Manager oversees the daily operations, performance, and profitability of their assigned branch. This role ensures consistent operational excellence, drives sales growth, strengthens customer relationships, and supports store managers in meeting company standards. The Branch Manager serves as the key liaison between the field and corporate leadership.

  • Ensure the Parker Store meets operational, safety, and brand standards.
  • Support branch location and Parker Store Business Development Manager with openings, remodels, and operational initiatives.
  • People Leadership
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop retail coordinators and high-potential staff.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and create development plans.
  • Promote a strong culture of accountability, teamwork, and customer focus.
  • Support conflict resolution and employee relations.
  • Sales & Business Performance
  • Analyze district sales, KPIs, and operational reports to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Develop strategies to drive revenue, customer retention, and market share.
  • Partner with store teams to achieve sales, margin, and productivity targets.
  • Customer Relations
  • Ensure stores deliver high-level service aligned with Parker standards.
  • Build relationships with key commercial and industrial clients.
  • Address escalated customer concerns and provide solutions.
  • Inventory & Compliance
  • Oversee inventory accuracy, stocking levels, and loss prevention processes.
  • Set up Inventory parameters to drive profitability
  • Monitor shrink, audit results, and corrective actions.
  • Administrative Duties
  • Manage district budgets, labor planning, and operational expenses.
  • Prepare and present district performance reviews to executive leadership.
  • Coordinate vendor relationships and service providers.
  • Qualifications – Required
  • 10+ years of retail or industrial supply management experience.
  • Prior multi-unit leadership strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of operations, inventory management, and customer service.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel throughout the territory regularly.
  • Qualifications – Preferred
  • Experience in hydraulic components, industrial parts, or Parker Store environments.
  • Background in B2B sales or technical product support.

  • Essential Functions
  • Perform on-site leadership activities within a retail and industrial supply environment.
  • Regularly move throughout the store, warehouse, and customer facilities.
  • Engage directly with customers, employees, and vendors in person.
  • Operate standard office equipment and retail systems.
  • Occasionally assist with store operations, including inventory review, product handling, and merchandising.
  • Travel by motor vehicle between branch locations and customer sites during work hours.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach regularly throughout the workday.

  • Work Environment
  • Work is performed in retail, warehouse, office, and customer job-site environments.
  • Exposure to noise, moving equipment, and industrial materials may occur.
  • Driving Requirement
  • This position requires regular travel during work hours to branch locations, customer sites, and company meetings.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and meet company motor vehicle insurance eligibility requirements.
  • Driving history will be evaluated in relation to job responsibilities.
