The Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita is looking for a Beverage Manager who shares passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. Qualifications 3-5 years leadership experience in a high volume upscale / luxury environment as restaurant / bar manager overseeing a beverage program Solid understanding of beverage cost controls and inventory management Mixology background with focus on classic cocktails and ahead of industry trends Fluency in English, ability to meet, engage and connect with resort guests, media and international beverage professionals. Encompass a high level of integrity for professionalism rooted in maturity, self awareness and responsibility in the presence of alcohol. Job Functions: Menu Development and Planning: Design and update the beverage menu in collaboration with the operations team, considering current industry trends, customer preferences, and the overall concept of the each outlet Source and select high-quality beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, to enhance the overall dining or drinking experience. Inventory, Financial control and supplier management: Monitor and manage beverage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels, minimizing waste, and controlling costs for all operations. Implement inventory control systems and procedures to track usage, conduct regular stock assessments, and place orders as needed. Serve as the liaison between operations, procurement and suppliers. Develop and maintain relationships with beverage suppliers and distributors to negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and promotions. Stay informed about new products, trends, and industry developments to keep the beverage program competitive and innovative. Implement pricing strategies that balance guest satisfaction with financial goals and consistently keep a track of market changes and adapt to the price changes in beverage supply within the city. Quality Control and training: Implement and enforce quality control standards for beverage preparation and presentation Drive consistency across the Resort with respect to methodology and recipe standardization. Monitor customer feedback and address any concerns related to the beverage offerings promptly. Prepare and facilitate staff trainings regularly Promotions and Marketing Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement promotions, events, and marketing strategies to drive beverage sales within the hotel. Utilize social media and other platforms to showcase the beverage program and attract guests. Apart from the above, the Beverage Manager also needs to maintain the below as per the Four Seasons Standards. Hygiene & Food Safety Management System, ensures that staff applies the necessary precautions with regards to the hotel Food Safety and Hygiene Standards. Proper and tactful handling of verbal complaints from guests. Handle guest complaints in a timely manner with the appropriate empathy and resolution. Constantly obtain customer feedback during operations to ensure satisfaction. Fire & Life Safety, ensure that staff are aware of and applies the procedures concerning resort fire and life safety / emergency procedures. Be able to provide guidance / counselling as and when required and also complete performance review for team members in a timely manner.
