• The Role
• In this role, the successful candidate will work directly with the founder to accelerate the evolution of systems originally built in-house, with a focus on scaling backend infrastructure and delivering critical features that support front-line recruiting teams.
• Requirements
• - 6+ years of backend engineering experience (with production-grade systems)
• - Strong expertise in Python and Django
• - Experience building applications that leverage GenAI APIs (e.g. OpenRouter, OpenAI, etc.)
• - Uses Cursor/Claude by default and has built strong workflows to balance quality with productivity
• - Strong communication skills and ability to work across time zones
• - Experience working independently in a remote-first environment

• - Experience mentoring or helping other engineers grow
• - Familiarity with implementing testing frameworks to ensure code quality
