What We Seek
- The University of New Mexico Foundation is seeking a talented professional to provide direct fund-raising, alumni relations, and event management services for the UNM School of Engineering. At the direction and with guidance from the Sr. Director of Development, this individual will manage alumni engagement and fundraising events and activities for the School that include campaign events, the Distinguished Alumni Awards, alumni and donor social gatherings, and more. In consultation with the rest of the Engineering Development Team, the chosen candidate will lead the creation of annual giving solicitation and stewardship materials for the School and participate in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of fund-raising projects and programs to meet established development goals, strategies, and objectives.

What We Require
- This individual must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community; the ability to foster effective working relationships within a team environment and in planning and implementing long-and short-range development initiatives to meet established priorities. In addition, this person must have database and records management skills, a working knowledge of a variety of fund-raising strategies and methods, and proficient in the use of personal computers and software applications.
The minimum education and experience required
- * Baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution; OR a combination of some higher education and more than one year of relevant experience.
- * At least one year of successful fundraising and development experience, preferably in higher education.
Compensation Salary Range
- The expected salary for this position is $50,000 – $60,000+. This range is an estimate, and the final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications, consideration of any approved geographic salary differential, and alignment with internal equity guidelines to ensure consistency across similar roles.
