This night-shift role is essential to maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring timely parts delivery across borders. A Day in the Life: Monitor and ensure on-time supplier deliveries to the Smyrna plant Minimize premium freight transportation costs for Nissan and suppliers Support new model launches, balance outs, and Saturday production Prepare accurate parameters for parts ordering and material supply releases Coordinate daily with cross-functional teams including transportation, scheduling, and quality assurance Who We’re Looking for: Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or related field Advanced English proficiency Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, mainframe applications) Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to perform work onsite in Mexico during night shift hours Desired: Persuasive and persistent team player Problem-solving skills with root cause analysis capability General understanding of Nissan policies and procedures Reporting Line: Reports to: SCM Inventory Control Manager Supervisory capacity: None What You’ll Look Forward to at Nissan: Career Growth and Continuous Learning Opportunities: Benefit from diverse career paths, cross-departmental moves, and innovative learning platforms.
